Hydroponics: Gardening Without Soil (SBD-5236-KIT)
ADD TO CART
Plants need sunlight and nutritious soil to grow and be healthy, right? Not always! Hydroponics is the science of growing plants in nutrient-rich water. Does it work? Try this science project and see for yourself!
With this plant biology science kit, you will compare the growth rate of lettuce seeds grown in potting soil with those grown hydroponically. Which method will produce seedlings the fastest? Will there be a difference in root growth between the two methods? At the end of this science project, instead of having a "green thumb," you might have a "blue thumb"!
This kit follows the procedures from the Science Buddies plant biology project
Hydroponics: Gardening Without Soil.
Kits contain tested materials to ensure that you have what you need to successfully complete your science project, have fun, and learn some science along the way!
