Enzyme Catalyzed Reactions (SBD-5253-KIT)

Price:   $86.00
Enzymes speed up chemical reactions by factors of at least a million. Now that's acceleration!

This biochemistry kit investigates how temperature affects the rate at which enzymatic reactions occur. First, you will make a catalase enzyme solution from a potato you have at home. Then you will test the effect of temperature on enzyme activity. In this kit we’ve gathered all the critical lab ware – scales, thermometers and graduated cylinders – required to make this project a success.

This kit follows the procedures from the Science Buddies chemistry project Enzyme Catalyzed Reactions- How Does Temperature Affect Their Rates?

Kits contain tested materials to ensure that you have what you need to successfully complete your science project, have fun, and learn some science along the way!

10% of proceeds go to support Science Buddies!
