How Does Soil Affect the pH of Water? (SBD-5228-KIT)

Price:   $101.00

Did you know that soils can be alkaline, neutral, or acidic? Most plants grow best in soil near neutral pH, but some plants prefer slightly acidic and others slightly alkaline soil. What is the pH of the soil in your garden? What happens to the pH of water that comes in contact with soil? Do this environmental science project to find out!

After testing many containers, we found the perfect sediment tubes for collecting and testing your soil samples. This kit also includes a digital soil pH meter and two different pH papers to ensure easy, but accurate data collection. Use this kit with the Science Buddies environmental science project How Does Soil Affect the pH of Water for a winning science fair entry!

Kits contain tested materials to ensure that you have what you need to successfully complete your science project, have fun, and learn some science along the way!
